Introduction
Mr. Miguel CABALLERO, In-house Solicitor of CPI Services (UK) Ltd.. He obtained a L.L.B. in Law from the University of Deusto in 2012 and a L.L.M. in International Trade Law from the University of Essex in 2014. He is qualified as a Spanish abogado (since 2013) and as a solicitor in England and Wales (since 2019). He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and the Spanish Maritime Law Association. His past experience spans private practice (both in Spain and the UK) and in-house roles, including positions at two IG P&I Clubs, a shipowner and a ship operator. He joined CPI in October 2025 to provide English law advice services and the training of Members in terms of English law/shipping issues. Miguel is fluent in English and Spanish (native), with limited proficiency in French.
