CPI Concludes Seven-City Seminar Tour on Strait of Hormuz Shipping Risks
The China Shipowners Mutual Assurance Association (China P&I Club) has wrapped up a seven-city seminar tour focused on key shipping challenges in the Strait of Hormuz, drawing over 400 attendees from across the industry.
Running from March 11 to April 27, the tour covered Shanghai, Dalian, Qingdao, Beijing, Fuzhou, Guangzhou and Nanjing, bringing together representatives from shipping companies and financial leasing enterprises.
Senior specialists from CPI’s Loss Prevention, Claims and Hull departments shared practical insights on navigational safety, charterparty disputes and war risk insurance arrangements.
The tour received strong support from T&Z Consultants, COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers, Nanjing Ocean Shipping, Huayang Maritime Center, Fujian Highton Development, and HFW.
Widely recognised across the industry, this member-centric initiative underscores CPI’s ongoing commitment to tailored risk protection and professional services, and its contribution to the sustainable development of the shipping and marine insurance sectors.
