CPI Co-Hosts Finance & Insurance Thematic Forum at 2026 North Bund Forum

The 2026 North Bund Forum opened on 20 October at The Grand Halls in Shanghai. 

The Finance and Insurance Thematic Forum was held the same afternoon. China P&I Club co-organised the Finance and Insurance Thematic Forum that afternoon, alongside fellow organisers from across the industry.

Under the theme “Empowerment through Innovation, Consolidation of Defenses, Jointly Safeguarding the Security of Global Maritime Supply Chains”, the forum drew some 550 delegates from China and abroad.

During the forum, China Classification Society (CCS), China P&I Club and the Hong Kong Chamber of Shipping jointly launched the “Initiative for Comprehensive Risk Protection and Insurance Innovation for Smart Ships”, promoting tripartite collaboration on risk control certification for smart vessels.
