China P&I Club Visits Zodiac Maritime in London

China P&I Club (CPI) and Zodiac Maritime discussed closer cooperation at a meeting in London on 12 October 2026. CPI Chairman Xu Lirong led a delegation for talks with Zodiac Maritime Chairman Mr Eyal Ofer and senior executives at the company’s headquarters.

The talks explored opportunities to share expertise and strengthen maritime risk management as CPI develops its international business and global services. Discussions also covered the importance of the Chinese market to Zodiac Maritime and its interest in strengthening ties with Chinese shipping and maritime service providers.

Participants included CPI Board Directors Mr Tao Weidong (Chairman of COSCO SHIPPING Lines), Mr Chen Wei (Chairman of COSCO SHIPPING Bulk) and Mr Bing Chen (Chairman, President and CEO of Seaspan Corporation), as well as Zodiac Maritime CEO Mr Daniel Ofer and CPI Managing Director Dr Song Chunfeng.
