CPI held business seminar in Beijing

The 2018 Regional Business Seminar for Members in the region of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei was held on Wednesday, 17 October 2018 in Beijing, sponsored by the association’s Beijing Centre. The top management of the association were pleased to invite the participation from the members in the region and the industry insiders and particularly some of the former management team to gether in the seminar. The Association’s former managing directors Mr. Bai Shangzhi and Mr. Hu Jingwu, former deputy managing director Mr. Du Zhibiao, and some of personnel from the Association’s Shanghai headquarters and the Beijing Centre were all in attendance of the Seminar.


Dr. Song Chunfeng, the managing director, delivered a speech addressing the seminar and particularly to thank all the contributions of the formal management team. He presented a slide show to illustrate the association’s remarkable developments since the headquarters moved to Shanghai. He also announced the relocation of the Beijing Centre, after stationed at Wuliqiao for exactly 10 years. Dr. Song confirmed that the new Beijing office had been in full operation. The relocation of the Beijing Centre will boost the Beijing Centre’s institutional functions, focusing on further providing exceptional service to the regional members, and help to create closer relationships with the relevant government departments and industry insiders.


Member and representatives from the industry, as well as former managing directors applauded the association’s recent achievements and success, and sent their best wishes for the future of the association. All participants expressed their continued trust in the association and  would continue to support the association in future endeavors and push for closer cooperation.


During the seminar, participants discussed CPI’s further developments in a free talk and afterwards,  the theme of the seminary turned to some hot topics of concern pertaining to forthcoming H&M and P&I renewal, sanctions, trade wars, etc. The seminary has proved to be successful and has met with the members’ expectations, and the viewpoints exchanged during the seminar is both innovative and inspiring, as pointed by some of the participants. The attendees hoped that the seminary would be an opportunity to strengthen mutual understanding and push for continued developments in order to benefit all the association’s members and business partners.
