Mr. ZHOU Yousheng (Peter Y. S. ZHOU), General Manager and director of Claims Department. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in International Maritime Law from Dalian Maritime University in July 1994 and an LL.M. Degree in Maritime Law from University of London in July 2005. He holds a PRC Legal Professional Qualification Certificate. He is the Expert of International Maritime Judicial Base in Zhejiang of The Supreme People’s Court, Member of the Ship Insurance and Liability Committee (SILC) of Asian Shipowners’ Association, Deputy Director of the Ship Pollution Prevention Committee of China Diving & Salvage Contractors Association, and Senior Researcher of International Maritime Arbitration Centra of China Academy of Arbitration Law. Mr. ZHOU joined CPI in August 1994 and served as Deputy Director of Claims Department, Claims Supervisor, Claims Director. He is responsible for the general management of the department.

Mr. CAO Hanzhen, Deputy General Manager and Manager of Claims Division I of Claims Department. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering in Maritime Law from Dalian Maritime University in July 1996. He worked in COSCO Dalian for 17 years with the extensive experience in handling various disputes due to the vessels of tanker, LPG and bulk chemical tanker, and then worked as Manager of Shipping Department in Chinese-Tanzanian Joint Shipping Company from 2013 to 2017. He joined CPI in April 2017, he is in accordance with the relevant claims procedures and regulations of CPI, handling P&I, FD&D and TCL cases and inquires.

Mr. AN Qingsheng (Tony), Senior Consultant of Claims Department. He obtained an LL.B. Degree in International Economic Law from Shanghai Maritime and an LL.M. Degree in Civil and Commercial Law from Renmin University of China. He is the Member of Maritime Law and Regulation Committee in China Institute of Navigation. He joined CPI in 1995 and served as Senior Claims Manager in China P&I Services (Hong Kong) Ltd. for five years. Mr. AN has over twenty years experience of handling P&I claims.

Mr. JIA Jintao (Kevin), Deputy General Manager and Manager of Claims Division II of Claims Department. He obtained an LL.B. Degree in International Economic Law in July 2006 and an LL.M. Degree in International Law in July 2008 from Dalian Maritime University. He joined CPI in September 2008. Appointed as the Deputy General Manager of Claims Department in November 2024, he mainly handles P&I claims.

Mr. LIU Xuan’ang (Phillippe X. A. Liu), Deputy General Manager and Manager of Claims Division III of Claims Department. He obtained an LL.B. Degree in Maritime Law in June 2012 and an LL.M. Degree in International Law in June 2014 from Shanghai Maritime University. He holds a PRC Legal Professional Qualification Certificate. He joined CPI in August 2014, and appointed as Assistant General Manager in April 2020. He is mainly responsible for handling both P&I and FD&D inquires and cases.

Mr. REN Yanmin (Johnny), Claims Consultant and Deputy Manager of Claims Division I of Claims Department. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology in June 2001 and a Master’s Degree in Transportation Planning Management from Shanghai Maritime University in July 2005. He had experience in a well-known insurance company in China. He joined CPI in October 2008 and is mainly responsible for P&I claims, including cargo loss or damage, personal injury, collision, oil pollution and wreck removal.

Ms. MENG Shuxian (Susan S.X. MENG), Claims Consultant of Claims Department. She obtained an LL.B. Degree in Maritime Law and an LL.M. Degree from Dalian Maritime University, and holds a PRC Legal Professional Qualification Certificate. She joined CPI in August 1999, and appointed as the current position in July 2005, she is responsible for handling P&I claims.

Mr. LI Zhuang, Claims Consultant of Claims Department. He obtained an LL.B. Degree in Maritime Law from Shanghai Maritime University in July 2001 and an LL.M. Degree in Maritime Law from Southampton University in September 2005. He holds a PRC Legal Professional Qualification Certificate. He joined CPI in August 2001 and served as Senior Claims Manager mainly handling the P&I claims.

Ms. MA Xueling (Sunny), Senior Claims Manager of Claim Department. She gained a Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Law from Dalian Maritime University in July 2001 and a Master’s Degree in Economic Law from Renmin University of China in June 2013. She attended an exchange program at Steamship Mutual in UK from September to December 2012. She holds the PRC Legal Professional Qualification Certificate. She joined CPI in August 2001, working as a Claims Handler and then Claims Manager and is now responsible for dealing with P&I claims cases.

Mr. LI Mai (Mike), Assistant General Manager and Deputy Manager of Claims Division II of Claims Department. He graduated from Shanghai Maritime University with an L.LB. and an L.LM. degrees in Maritime Law and International Law, he is also a graduate of Peking University where he obtained a Master’s degree in International Public Policy. Mr. Li holds a PRC Legal Professional Qualification Certificate. He joined CPI in August 2014 and worked as Assistant and then Claims Executive. He was appointed as the current position in August 2019 and is handling full range of P&I claims for members in Shanghai.

Mr. SUN Qilong (Loyd), Senior Claims Manager and Deputy Manager of Claims Division III of Claims Department. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Commercial Law from East China University of Political Science and Law in July 2014 and a Master’s Degree in Law from University of Southern California in July 2016. He worked for a well-known law firm in Beijing and participated in various civil and maritime cases for a year. He joined CPI in January 2018 and provides P&I claims services for members.

Ms. HUANG Shujuan (Emily), Senior Claims Manager and Deputy Manager of Claims Division III of Claims Department. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Shipping Management from Ji Mei University in June 2008 and an LL.M. Degree in Maritime Law from Shanghai Maritime University in June 2010. She holds a PRC Legal Professional Qualification Certificate. She worked as Claim Executive in one of the famous correspondent companies for several years before joined CPI in June 2017. As Claims Senior Manager, she handles various P&I claims and relevant works.

Mr. ZHENG Yuhui, Senior Claims Manager and Deputy Manager of Claims Division II of Claims Department. He obtained an LL.B. Degree and an LL.M. Degree both in Maritime Law from Dalian Maritime University. He holds a PRC Legal Professional Qualification Certificate. Before joined CPI in August 2015, he took internships in several well-known Maritime Law related law firms. He served as Claims Assistant and then Claims Executive of Dalian Branch from 2015 to 2019, then promoted as Senior Claims Manager of CPI in 2023. He is responsible for providing claims and consulting services for Members in Shanghai, working as Claims Manager for the department, drafting the Claims Guidance for the Claims Committee.

Mr. ZHU Hongliang (Stephen), Senior Claims Manager and Deputy Manager of Claims Division I of Claims Department. He obtained an LL.B. Degree in Maritime Law in July 2014 from Dalian Maritime University and an LL.M. Degree in International Law in July 2016 from Shanghai Maritime University. He holds a PRC Legal Professional Qualification Certificate. He joined CPI in August 2016 and is responsible for handling both Owners’ P&I and TCL inquires and cases.

Mr. JIANG Tao (Nicholas), Senior Claims Manager of Claims Department. He obtained an LL.B. Degree in Maritime Law in July 2014 and an LL.M. Degree in International Law in July 2016 from Shanghai Maritime University. He holds the PRC Legal Professional Qualification Certificate, and the Advance-Level English Interpretation Accreditation. He joined CPI in August 2016 and is responsible for handling both P&I and FD&D inquires and cases.

Ms. YANG Ying (Ingrid), Senior Claims Manager of Claim Department. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in International Economic Law from Dalian Maritime University in July 2000, a Master’s Degree in International Maritime Management from Bournemouth University in September 2001, and a Master Degree in Maritime Law from University of Southampton in September 2002. She joined CPI in August 2003, working as a Claims Handler and then Claims Manager, and is mainly responsible for P&I claims cases.

Ms. LIU Cunjin, Claim Manager of Claims Department. She studied English at Beijing Language and Culture University and holds a PRC Legal Professional Qualification Certificate, TEM 8 Certificate and a Business English Certificate (Higher). She joined CPI in August 2018 and started in Strategy & Development Department for a year handling compliance and legal affairs, and has been working in FDD & TCL Department since September 2019 handling both P&I and TCL inquires and cases.

Mr. WU Yirun, Claims Manager of Claims Department. He obtained an LL.B. Degree from Criminal Justice College of China University of Political Science and Law in July 2016, and studied Law at Dalian Maritime University from 2017 to 2020 and Swansea University from 2018 to 2019 gaining a Juris Master’s Degree and an LL.M. Degree in International Commercial and Maritime Law. He holds a PRC Legal Professional Qualification Certificate. He joined CPI in August 2020 and is responsible for assisting P&I claims services.

Mr. HUANG Jin, Claims Assistant of Claims Department I. He obtained an LL.B. Degree in Maritime Law from Dalian Maritime University in June 2021, and an LL.M. Degree in Maritime Law from Dalian Maritime University in June 2024. He holds a PRC Legal Professional Qualification Certificate. He joined CPI in July 2024 and is now responsible for P&I claims and relevant supporting works.

Ms. GUO Wen, Claim Assistant of Claims Department Ⅰ. She obtained an LL.B. Degree in Maritime Law from Shanghai Maritime University in June 2021. She also obtained an LL.M. Degree in Maritime Law from Shanghai Maritime University in June 2024. She joined CPI in July 2024 and is now responsible for P&I claims and relevant supporting works.

Mr. YU Yonghao, Claims Assistant of Claims Department. He obtained an LL.B. Degree in Maritime Law from Dalian Maritime University in June 2021, and an LL.M. Degree in Maritime Law from Dalian Maritime University in June 2024. He holds a PRC Legal Professional Qualification Certificate. He joined CPI in July 2024 and is responsible for assisting P&I claims services.
