    WU Jianping

    Mr. WU Jianping, Director, Deputy General Manager of China P&I Services (Hong Kong) Ltd. He obtained an LL.B. Degree from Dalian Maritime University in 2000 and an LL.M. Degree from Hong Kong University in 2008. He holds the PRC Legal Professional Qualification Certificate, and has extensive experience in various commercial and casualty cases.

    HOU Guangyan (Grace)

    Legally qualified in the U.S., Grace Hou has a lengthy experience of private practice focused on both contentious and non-contentious shipping related matters. She had worked for various prominent international law firms located in Shanghai, New York city and Hong Kong for more than 20 years, handling a board range of disputes in multiple jurisdictions involving shipbuilding, sale and purchase, personal injury, cargo claims, collision, salvage and pollution cases, as well as charterparty, bill of lading and other contract of affreightment disputes. She also provided advice for both U.S. and international maritime operations in a wide arrays of regulatory compliance issues. Ms. Hou has moved to an in-house role with a private entity based in west coast, U.S.A. since 2017, providing the primary legal support for its clients’ investment fund and portfolio management businesses and leading the execution of active transitions such as Mergers & acquisitions, PIPE deals, international joint ventures, equipment leasing and privatizations.

    A graduate of Shanghai Maritime University School of Law, Grace started her early career as a claim executive in one of top ranked shipping companies in Shanghai before she went to the U.S. to further her legal education.


  • Deputy General Manager

    HAO Chunqiu (Chelsea)

    Ms. HAO Chunqiu (Chelsea), Deputy General Manager of China P&I Services (Hong Kong) Ltd. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Law from Dalian Maritime University and a LL.M. Degree in Maritime Transportation Law from City University of Hong Kong. She spent one year in University of Southampton studying Common Law and Marine Insurance Law.  She holds a PRC Legal Professional Qualification Certificate. She gained rich experience in renewals and claims of P&I and H&M insurance when working as a Claims Executive in a famous shipowner company in Hong Kong. She joined CPI in February 2017 to support marine insurance claims, including personal illness and injury, cargo liabilities, grounding and collision cases.


  • Assistant General Manager

    CAO Wenkai (Jacky)

    Mr. CAO Wenkai (Jacky), Assistant General Manager of China P&I Service (Hong Kong) Ltd. He graduated with Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) from Shanghai Maritime University, Master Degree in Science (Msc) in International Shipping and Transport Logistics from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Master Degree in Law (LLM) in Arbitration and Dispute Resolution from the University of Hong Kong, Graduate Diploma in English and Hong Kong Law from the Manchester Metropolitan University. Mr. Cao is also the holder of the CII Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ACII). Prior to joining CPI in 2019, he worked with a famous shipowner in Hong Kong SAR and handled both vessel operation and insurance claims.

    LI Yujing (Orra)

    Ms. LI Yujing (Orra), Claims Manager of China P&I Services (Hong Kong) Ltd. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics and an M.S. Degree from Chinese University of Hong Kong. She had worked for a famous in-house broking firm in Hong Kong, gaining experience in claims handling and broking in P&I and marine hull products. She joined CPI in 2018, providing P&I claims services to members in Hong Kong SAR and Singapore.


  • Claims Assistant

    LENG Shang (Lenny)

    Mr. LENG Shang (Lenny), Claims Assistant of China P&I Services (Hong Kong) Ltd. He obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Law from Dalian Maritime University and an LL.M. Degree in International Commercial and Maritime Law from Swansea University. He previously worked for a leading freight forwarder in the United Kingdom. He joined CPI in March 2022 to support marine insurance claims including personal illness and injury, cargo liabilities, grounding and collision cases.

    Alice CHAN

    Ms. CHAN Toi (Alice), Administration Department Manager of China P&I Services (Hong Kong) Ltd. She joined CPI in 1998, and is responsible for administration and accounting affairs.
