    Mary POTHITOS

    Ms. Mary Pothitos, General Manager of CPI Services (Hellas), joined CPI in January 2026. She obtained an LL.B. in Law from the Wolverhampton University, UK, in 1987. She began her career in the Greek shipowning and ship management sector in 1989, joining a family-owned business as Legal and Insurance Director, a position she held until 2014. During this period, her responsibilities included handling cargo claims and charter party disputes, as well as being actively involved in fleet operations and management. In 2014, she was appointed Advisor on International Relations at the Hellenic Shortsea Shipowners Association and Director of the Shortsea Promotion Centre (SPC) – Greece. She also served a one-year term as a Board Member of the European Shortsea Network (ESN). Since 2016, she has been providing professional support and training in marine insurance, and claims handling, delivering seminars and workshops to maritime industry professionals. She holds certification as an EU Data Protection Officer (DPO) and is an active member of WISTA Hellas (Women’s International Shipping & Trading Association).
