As the 2017 P&I renewals completed, the entered tonnage of China P&I Club has exceeded 49 million GT and hit another record on February 20th, 2017.

As the COSCO SHIPPING DANUBE entered the club, which has 94,623 GT from COSCO SHIPPING Lines Co., Ltd., the entered tonnages of China P&I Club exceeded 40 million GT and hit another new record on November 29th, 2016.

On August 1st, 2016 CPI saw its total entered tonnage exceeding 39 million GT, hitting all-time highs with 39,400,000GT after 2 VALMAX vessels, "ORE BRASIL" and "ORE ITALIA" operated by Hong Kong member, China Merchants Group-Hong Kong Mingwah Shipping Co., Ltd., entered the club.
