Mr. WU Xuedong, Director of Marketing and Membership Committee. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in International Maritime Law from Dalian Maritime University in July 1994, and holds the PRC Legal Professional Qualification Certificate. He joined CPI in August 1994, and has worked as Claims Handler, Underwriting Manager of Syndicate, Deputy Manager and General Manager of Underwriting Department for the past two decades. Appointed as Director of Marketing and Membership Committee in May 2020, he is mainly responsible for market development and maintenance of member relationship.

Ms. WANG Jingwen (Katherine), Deputy Director of Market and Membership Committee and Member of Underwriting Committee. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree of International Shipping Management from Dalian Maritime University since July 2007 followed by her Master’s Degree in International Shipping and Logistics from Hong Kong Polytech University since July 2009. She also holds P&I Qualification and has been served for several P&I Clubs of International Group of P&I Clubs as underwriter and business development director for Greater China market. She started with CPI since December 2021 in her responsibilities of P&I and H&M underwriting outside Chinese Mainland.

Mr. ZHOU Yousheng (Peter Y. S. ZHOU), Director of Claims Committee, Member of Marketing & Membership Committee, General Manager of Claims Department I. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in International Maritime Law from Dalian Maritime University in July 1994 and an LL.M. Degree in Maritime Law from University of London in July 2005. He holds a PRC Legal Professional Qualification Certificate. He is the Expert of International Maritime Judicial Base in Zhejiang of The Supreme People’s Court, Member of the Ship Insurance and Liability Committee (SILC) of Asian Shipowners’ Association, Deputy Director of the Ship Pollution Prevention Committee of China Diving & Salvage Contractors Association, and Senior Researcher of International Maritime Arbitration Centra of China Academy of Arbitration Law. Mr. ZHOU joined CPI in August 1994 and served as Deputy Director of Claims Department, Claims Supervisor of Claims Department, Director of Claims Department and General Manager of FDD & TCL Department. Appointed as the current positions in May 2020, he is responsible for the general management of the committee and department.

Mr. CHEN Zhigao, Director of Hull Committee, Member of Claim Committee, Member of Marketing & Membership Committee, General Manager of Hull Department. He obtained an LL.B. Degree in International Law (Maritime Law) from Shanghai Maritime University in July 2000 and an MBA Degree from Guanghua School of Management, Peking University in July 2012. He holds a PRC Legal Professional Qualification Certificate. He joined CPI in July 2000 worked as an executive of Underwriting Department, deputy syndicate manager, syndicate manager, and deputy manager of Hull Department. Appointed general manager of Hull Department in September 2017 and director of Hull Committee in 2023, he is responsible for daily operation of H&M insurance.

Mr. CHEN Xuefeng, Member of Marketing & Membership Committee, General Manager of Loss Prevention Department. He obtained an LL.B. Degree in International Economic Law in June 1991 and a Master’s Degree in Logistics Engineering in 2007. He holds a PRC Legal Professional Qualification Certificate. He previously worked with COSCO and HNA Group and has led a career in the shipping industry for over 25 years. He joined CPI in July 2016 and oversees the Loss Prevention Department.

Mr. HU Wei, General Manager of Guangzhou Branch. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Ocean Shipping and a Master’s Degree in Economical Law from Shanghai Maritime University. He has previously worked for various shipping companies, with rich experience in chartering, ship operation, claims and ship safety management. He joined CPI in September 2020, and now is responsible for the overall management of the branch.

Mr. WU Jianping, Director, Deputy General Manager of China P&I Services (Hong Kong) Ltd. He obtained an LL.B. Degree from Dalian Maritime University in 2000 and an LL.M. Degree from Hong Kong University in 2008. He holds the PRC Legal Professional Qualification Certificate, and has extensive experience in various commercial and casualty cases.

Mr. Thomas XU, General Manager of CPI (SGP) Services Pte. Ltd., graduated from Shanghai Maritime University with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Economic Law (Maritime Law). He once worked for Shandong International Marine Shipping Co., SITC Shipbrokers Co. Ltd., Maersk Broker Asia Shanghai and Singapore Representative Office, as well as Pacific International Lines (Pte) Ltd. He joined CPI in December 2019 and was appointed as the General Manager of CPI (SGP) Services Pte. Ltd. in May 2020. He is now responsible for the overall management of the branch.
